NEW HAMPSHIRE ELECTION ACCOUNTABILITY: WHERE ARE THE ANSWERS?

A Right-to-Know request seeking election integrity documentation was turned into a months-long waiting game with the New Hampshire Secretary of State.

Regina Barnes-Player submitted an RSA 91-A request demanding records showing how New Hampshire verifies citizenship claims made through voter-registration affidavits and how the State documents the chain from qualified elector to ballot issuance, counting, auditing, and certification. The original request was sent June 5, 2026.

The request seeks transparency, not private voter information or interference with lawful ballots.

THREE RESPONSES. THREE DELAYS. STILL NO RECORDS PRODUCED.

JUNE 15, 2026 — FIRST RESPONSE

The Secretary of State stated:

"Due to current workloads related to the filing period and publishing the Elections Procedures Manual we require one month to process your request. We will reach back no later than July 13."

JULY 30, 2026 — SECOND RESPONSE

The Secretary of State missed its own July 13 deadline and responded that additional time was needed because of:

Elections ramping up.

Staff shortages.

The new response deadline given by the office was August 7, 2026.

AUGUST 14, 2026 — THIRD RESPONSE

The Secretary of State missed that deadline as well. The third response cited:

Too many records requiring review.

Additional review requirements.

Government staffing shortages.

Election-season workload.

The office postponed its response until December 15, 2026.

WHAT ARE NEW HAMPSHIRE TAXPAYERS SUPPOSED TO MAKE OF THIS?

The questions remain:

How are citizenship affidavits actually verified?

Are affidavit-based registrants tracked and reconciled?

What documented procedures connect voter qualification to ballot issuance?

How is ballot custody and tabulation independently audited?

What legal authority supports certification when citizenship qualification rests on an affidavit?

Where are the records demonstrating that this entire process works?

Meanwhile, Concord's elected officials are being asked to address election accountability, transparency, and public confidence.

The documented timeline shows three delayed responses and a December 15 production date. It does not, by itself, establish whether the requested records exist or whether the underlying verification procedures are adequate.

But it raises a fundamental question for the Legislature, Governor, Secretary of State, and every elected official responsible for election administration:

WHO IS ACCOUNTABLE, AND WHEN WILL NEW HAMPSHIRE TAXPAYERS GET ANSWERS?

The public deserves more than repeated extensions, staffing explanations, and another deadline. It deserves access to the governmental records necessary to evaluate how its elections are administered and certified. #rigged #elections #stolen #newhampshire #bigbrother
