Mitchell Vexler Requests Federal Executive Review of Unresolved Constitutional and Public-Finance Concerns and Files for Rehearing with SCOTUS

Mitchell Vexler, Mockingbird Properties, has sent a formal notice to President Trump requesting an independent federal review of constitutional, civil-rights, taxation, property-valuation, and public-finance concerns.

The request follows the U.S. Supreme Court’s October 5, 2026, denial of review in Case No. 26-179. Vexler emphasizes that the denial was not a ruling on the merits. The Court did not determine whether the alleged evidence was false, whether the challenged conduct was lawful, or whether the asserted constitutional violations occurred.

Vexler states that repeated refusals to reach constitutional claims may leave citizens without a meaningful determination of their rights. He is asking federal authorities to investigate the underlying evidence rather than treat the matter as merely a disagreement with a court decision.

The request asks authorities to examine whether the evidence could implicate federal civil-rights laws, including 18 U.S.C. §§ 241 and 242.

The letter also raises public-finance risks. It attests that property overvaluation and resulting excessive taxation WILL have affected tax-base assumptions supporting school-district debt. Vexler’s analysis identifies approximately $5.1 trillion in school-district bond obligations.

The requested federal action includes:

  • Preserving relevant records, communications, financial data, and audit trails;

  • Reviewing the constitutional and civil-rights claims;

  • Assessing property valuations and tax-base assumptions;

  • Determining whether referrals to the Department of Justice, FBI, Treasury, SEC, or other agencies are appropriate; and

  • Identifying whether the allegations are unsupported, supported, or require further investigation.

Vexler’s central position is that constitutional rights must be practically enforceable, and that public debt relying on disputed tax and valuation assumptions needs to be verified, independently.
